International Academy of Design & Technology Appoints DataGlyphics CTO to Board of Advisors
4/27/2004
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – M. Hutcheson Craig, DataGlyphics' chief technology officer (CTO), recently was appointed to the board of advisors for the International Academy of Design & Technology, Tampa. As a board member, Craig is responsible for helping the International Academy review and architect its technology curriculum.
"The International Academy is committed to keeping its technology curriculum flexible and dynamic," Craig said. "We are going to meet regularly and reassess the Academy’s Web development and design courses to ensure that they remain fine-tuned and structured as needed to provide students with the most up-to-date skill sets."
By keeping its technology courses current and dynamic, the International Academy will provide students with greater opportunities to find jobs in their fields of choice. Craig will assist by reviewing and planning course topics, identifying important new technologies, and suggesting new subject areas for Web design and development.
"It's all about helping students land jobs. And it makes great sense to invest in our local educational institutions. The Tampa Bay area is DataGlyphics' home – and we always prefer to look locally first for future employees," Craig said. "I'm honored to serve on the International Academy's board of advisors, and I look forward to helping them establish new curricula and courses that will help launch the careers of their dedicated technology students."
