DataGlyphics Wins Technology Company of the Year Award

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – DataGlyphics Inc., a St. Petersburg-based software development firm, today announced that it won the 2004 Thomas R. Connolly Technology Company of the Year Award presented by the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce. Winners of the Chamber's 2004 Outstanding Business of the Year Awards were announced during the awards gala held on May 13th at the St. Petersburg Hilton.
The St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce named DataGlyphics technology company of the year based on the company's response to seven criteria: staying power, growth in number of employees, increase in sales, innovativeness of product or service, response to adversity, and evidence of contributions to aid community-oriented projects. The company also had to substantiate its financial position.

And as life-long residents of the area and co-founders of the company, Hutch Craig and I have always envisioned building a successful company that would grow to become a fixture in downtown St. Pete," said William H. The St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce began recognizing local business in 1984. Since then, the event has grown from a small breakfast to a gala affair with more than 500 supporters of Pinellas County businesses in attendance.
