DataGlyphics, WorkNet Pinellas Redevelop, Re-launch Web Site

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – DataGlyphics Inc., a St. Petersburg-based software development firm, and WorkNet Pinellas today announced the launch of WorkNet’s new Web site – www.worknetpinellas.org – and supporting Web-based applications. The new site and Web solutions were built using Microsoft .NET technology and are designed to help unite employers and career seekers throughout Pinellas County. DataGlyphics created the initial WorkNet Pinellas Web site and has provided site hosting and managed services to WorkNet Pinellas since 2002.
"DataGlyphics really understands how to put our business needs into a technology perspective that works," said Jerome Salatino, director of planning and development for WorkNet Pinellas. "They helped us create the first iteration of the WorkNet Pinellas Web site, and we are happy to have them as our Web partner for this version."
New Web site features and tools include an enhanced backend administrative portal, subscriber interest system and bulk email system. Via the backend administrative portal, authorized WorkNet Pinellas personnel can logon and manage dynamic homepage content, news releases, FAQs, surveys and event calendar – all with no HTML or programming experience required.
The new subscriber interest system allows employers and career seekers to signup and select which WorkNet Pinellas news and event information they would like to receive via email. On the backend of the site, the bulk email system enables WorkNet Pinellas personnel to create and send email messages to registered users, and it also provides the ability to bulk email by subscriber interest topic.
