Pinellas Technical Education Centers Selects DataGlyphics

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – DataGlyphics Inc., a St. Petersburg-based Web development firm, today announced that Pinellas Technical Education Centers (PTEC) has selected DataGlyphics to redevelop their existing web site. PTEC, which falls under the authority of the Pinellas County School Board, is scheduled to launch their site in Q2 2005.
The PTEC web site will be enhanced with a custom-developed dynamic content management system. The main focus will be to provide potential and current students with more information on course offerings and upcoming events at the various PTEC campuses. In addition, the site will help push content out to students and prospects in a timely manner and help enhance support and information dissemination.
"There were two major goals in developing the new web site," said Ken McManaway, Industry Services Coordinator for PTEC. "We felt we could better serve the student population and the community by providing more timely information about our products and services. And, we felt a new database-driven dynamic site could empower our staff to achieve our goals."
"The RFP process included proposals and presentations from organization from all over the country. We selected DataGlyphics because of their proven track record, reputation in the industry and overall responsiveness to the RFP," said Mr. McManaway.
