Press Release

Special Operations Warrior Foundation Selects DataGlyphics as Technology Partner
1/25/2002

The Special Operations Warrior Foundation was live on CNN publicizing their commitment to provide college scholarships to the children of Special Operations personnel killed in the line of duty. It could have been a banner fundraising day for the organization, but the unthinkable happened – their Internet Service Provider was down and the Web site was inaccessible.

“I expect that cost us a substantial amount in lost donations,” said Steven L. McLeary, Major, USAF (Ret.), Executive Director of the Warrior Foundation.

After that experience, seeking a technology consultant and partner, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation came to DataGlyphics, a leading area Web development firm.

“We are taking over hosting and management of the site and will provide consulting for the organization,” said Bill Stover, DataGlyphics CEO. “We are proud to offer our expertise and services to support the Warrior Foundation in their work. The transition should be completed by the end of the month.”

“We are extremely pleased with DataGlyphics’ offer to donate their services,” said Warrior Foundation President/CEO, John T. Carney, Jr., Colonel, USAF (Ret.). “With more television coverage scheduled for Fox and USA Networks, it is reassuring to know that we will have our Web site ready this time.”
