Cee Bee's Citrus Launches New DataGlyphics e-Commerce Engine
9/30/2002
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - DataGlyphics Inc. today announced the launch of the new Cee Bee's Citrus Inc. e-commerce site – www.CeeBeesCitrus.com – which is designed to streamline order processing and enhance online purchasing of Cee Bee's citrus products and packages.
"We pride ourselves on selling direct from our groves to the end consumer, and it was imperative for us to implement the new e-commerce site in time for this year's season," said Brent Harmon, web manager with Cee Bee's. "DataGlyphics delivered on time, and with the new solution we have enhanced the functionality of www.CeeBeesCitrus.com and gained an efficient tool for managing orders and our Web site content."
Cee Bee's new online shopping engine features an intuitive, custom-developed shopping cart tool that is integrated with Cee Bee's order processing and shipping systems. Now, shoppers can purchase a variety of citrus products, and their online orders are processed in real-time and sent immediately to Cee Bee's packing facilities for shipment. All orders include free ground shipping.
In addition to a new e-commerce engine, DataGlyphics developed a secure back-end administrative portal that allows Cee Bee's personnel to logon and manage site content such as product listings, product packages, gift certificates, descriptions and pricing. As a database-driven site, www.CeeBeesCitrus.com now enables authorized personnel to manage site content and process Web orders with no programming or HTML experience required.
William Stover, Jr., CEO of DataGlyphics, said, "Now that the site is live, Cee Bee's personnel have taken complete control. With our solutions, Cee Bee's can make all the content changes they need while easily capturing and managing their Web orders – all through their central, secure administrative portal."
