DataGlyphics Nabs Five WMA 2003 WebAwards

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – DataGlyphics Inc., a St. Petersburg-based Web development firm, today announced that the Web Marketing Association (WMA), an organization devoted to setting a high standard for Internet marketing and corporate Web site development, named five of DataGlyphics' client sites 2003 WebAward recipients. The Nokia Latin America site (http:// latinoamerica.ext.nokia.com) received an Outstanding Website WebAward and the Institute for Business & Home Safety (www.ibhs.org), The Poynter Institute (www.poynter.org), RedVector.com (www.redvector.com) and Teltronics Inc. (www.teltronics.com) each were awarded Standard of Excellence WebAwards.
"This is a landmark achievement for DataGlyphics and our clients," said William H. Stover, Jr., CEO of DataGlyphics. "We've competed and won WebAwards in the past, but never before have we taken home five in a single year. The Nokia Latin America project is also our first Outstanding Website award. The WebAwards are a highly coveted prize in our industry, and this year's awards are a testament to DataGlyphics' talented team and our close working relationship with our clients."
According to WMA guidelines, the Outstanding Website award recognizes sites that excel beyond the standards of excellence for corporate Web development, and the Standard of Excellence awards are give to sites that set the level to which corporate Web sites should strive to achieve.
Each WebAward entry was judged against a standard of excellence and then against other entries in the category. Entries were judged on the following seven criteria: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, navigation and ease of use.
