Pinellas County Commission Selects Stover

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – DataGlyphics Inc. today announced that the Pinellas County Commission selected William H. Stover, Jr., CEO of DataGlyphics, to serve on the Pinellas County Economic Development Council (PCEDC). The Pinellas County Commission recognized Stover's community leadership via a unanimous vote of his appointment to the PCEDC for a two-year term.
"The members of the PCEDC comprise a cross-section of our local business community. As council members, it's our duty to assist the Board of County Commissioners by providing business insight, advice and support that will help make our community more business-friendly and attractive to new companies," Stover said. "I am happy to serve in this role, and I’m glad to lend another technology perspective to the council."

The Board of County Commissioners and the County Administrator created Pinellas County Economic Development in late 1997. PCED's mission is to retain existing businesses as well as attract new high-quality businesses that pay a living wage. The aim is to improve the business climate within the county by acting as a liaison between public and private sectors while facilitating the availability of a qualified workforce. The mission is accomplished through the initiatives of five sections in the Department: Business Assistance, Business Communication and Marketing, International Business Development, Business Recruitment and Business Research.
