DataGlyphics to Develop Six New Nokia Country Web Sites

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – DataGlyphics Inc., a St. Petersburg-based Web development firm, today announced that it will develop, design, host and manage six new Web sites for its client, Nokia Mobile Phones. The new sites will provide targeted marketing and customer support services to Nokia customers in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela and Jamaica by providing country-specific site content. DataGlyphics developed Nokia's original Latin America Web site and their Latin America Ringtone eCommerce site and has provided hosting and managed services to Nokia Mobile Phones since 2000.
"Initially, the Nokia Latin America Web site served all Nokia Mobile Phones customers throughout Central and South America," said William H. Stover, Jr., CEO of DataGlyphics. "These new sites represent Nokia's first steps toward providing valuable country-specific information and services to its Latin American and Caribbean customer base. DataGlyphics will design and develop these sites to allow authorized Nokia representatives from each country to log on and maintain Web site content and administer features for their specific region."
By logging on through a secure backend administrative portal, Nokia's representatives will be able to edit and update their country's Web site content through a custom-developed content management system. Also, each independent country site will maintain overall Nokia Mobile Phones style and design standards.
"While these six sites reflect Nokia's new targeted marketing and customer support approach in the Caribbean and Latin America, DataGlyphics is building the system so that it can be easily expanded to allow Nokia to provide country-specific information and content to any of its other sales regions," Stover said.
