DataGlyphics a Finalist for Technology Company of the Year Award

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – DataGlyphics Inc., a St. Petersburg-based software development firm, today announced that it is a finalist for the 2004 Technology Company of the Year Award presented by the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce. Winners will be announced at the Awards Gala on May 13th at the St. Petersburg Hilton.
"As the only technology company to post a three-peat, everyone at DataGlyphics is very excited about this recognition," said William H. Stover, Jr., CEO of DataGlyphics. "DataGlyphics has grown and transitioned through some very important corporate milestones during the past 12 months. We recently completed our move into a new headquarters building in which we became part owners. We increased the size of our facilities and we continued to invest in our Network Operations Center. Hopefully, the third time will be the charm."
The St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce chose DataGlyphics as a finalist based on the company’s response to seven criteria: staying power, growth in number of employees, increase in sales, innovativeness of product or service, response to adversity, and evidence of contributions to aid community-oriented projects. DataGlyphics also had to substantiate its financial stability.
The St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce began recognizing local business in 1984. Since then, the event has grown from a small breakfast to a gala affair with more than 500 supporters of Pinellas County businesses in attendance.
